Once applications have been shortlisted by leaders from the trust, applicants will be invited to interview. The interview consists of a short teaching activity with a small group of pupils along with an interview with the panel made up of leaders within PACE.
There will be a numeracy and literacy test at interview, which is used to inform any additional support that may be needed during the course and does not affect the interview outcome.
Those trained overseas will need to complete a NARIC equivalency check before application.
Placements on our training programme (Primary PGCE – Lead Partner Pathway) will be conditional on DBS checks, Roehampton University and the PACE Academy Trust entry requirements (GCSE C-Grade or above in English, mathematics and science, or equivalent, holding a 2.2 or above degree qualification from the UK or equivalent).
