Safeguarding

PACE Academy Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.  We expect all staff, volunteers and any visitors to our schools to share this commitment.  Our Trust aims to provide a caring, positive, safe and stimulating environment which promotes the social, physical and moral development of the individual, and works hard to ensure that every young person across PACE feels secure, well cared for, and able to reach their full potential.

Our Trust understands and is committed to the vital contribution that all directors, governors, staff, parents, carers and young people can make to safeguarding. Every member of staff and volunteer must be clear about the importance of providing an environment that helps young people feel safe and respected and is working to help develop a culture where young people are encouraged to talk openly, and have the confidence they will be listened to.

We have a number of policies and procedures in places at each of our schools that contribute to our safeguarding commitment. Each school has a Designated Safeguarding Lead who can be contacted if you have any concerns.  The Trust Board and each of our Local Governing Boards has a designated Safeguarding Link who is responsible for advocating child protection and safeguarding issues within the school.

Our Designated Safeguarding Director is: Clare Wingrave
